Molly's MB2 V1 Tier List

So here's something I've been thinking about for a few days now. For those that don't know, Tier List are basically a ranking system. They are most commonly used in Fighting games with the best fighters/classes being at the highest tier and the worst being at the bottom. I know some of these were definitely easy(Jedi/Sith for example) but I did this for fun as well as to hopefully get a second opinion from gunners on what they think is really good in this build. I ranked the classes based on several factors: ease of use, popularity,versatility, 1v1 potential, and group potential.

Without further ado, the list.

Special Notes

ARCS: They are in an awkward spot in this build since Heroes have a Dash ability, Pistol 3 and E-11 are much better weapons compared to the ARC pistols and M5. The only thing they have going for them are rockets, which are easy to push.
Droideka: Nerfed into the ground and deservedly so considering how crazy they were in previous builds. I'm not sure what they should do with this one, but I'd replace it with something more interesting.
Wookiees: Rage can not be used defensively anymore, but that doesn't mean Wooks are bad. They still have one of the best guns in the game with the Bowcaster along with a huge health pool.
Mandalorians: Not bad either but I would say more difficult to use than a class like a Soldier. Still good in the right hands, like any class.
Soldiers: A quick getup with Close Combat 2 in this build is an amazing addition for Soldiers that makes playing ET almost pointless in this patch. Couple this with 3 lives and having access to concussion nades and they are one of the most solid gunner classes available.

As I said earlier, I would like to hear more opinions as this list will likely change. I might even do a seperate list with specific class builds(like Force Sith or Rage Wook.)

I pretty much agree with this list. The only thing I'd say though is SBD/Wook tier depends on the person using it IMO. That's kind of how it is with every class really. With SBD & Wook though they have potential to be OP if the player knows what they're doing with it. Wookiee is as close to balance as it's ever been and I think it's good at middle tier ranking. As for SBD, I think it's more of a top tier class if it's in the right hands, kind of hard to judge.

Ya I'm with Apex, this is a good list. Only ones I'm conflicted about are Wookiee and SBD as well. Those two are very situational classes and can be very spec-dependent and skill oriented. IMO Imp cmdr's T21 could be considered Top-Tier depending on the person wielding it.

The map even more so can play a significant factor in these classes' performance. For example, Wookiees on mb2_smuggler are definitely Top-Tier.

Yes very true, map definitely comes into play. Each class sort of works well in specific situations as well as with specific players using said class. Using T21 definitely puts Commander top tier, as well as A280. I think the right player using Commander with E11 can also be top tier also. E11 3 + Frag + 2 lives = win. I would say Commander is more top tier compared to Soldier, although they are both rather weak against P3. It really all depends on the player and what said class is going up against. This list is a generalization for tier level, I know that, but in my opinion it is quite difficult to classify most classes on a tier level as it really all depends on the person wielding said class. Although some classes may feel overpowered against another, which is true in some cases, I think a lot of classes are pretty balanced against one another depending on how you use them. However, Jedi/Sith is complete bullshit OPness against gunners. I think most of us can agree with that.

One of my determining factors was ease of use, and I don't think SBD/T21 is that easy to use, say in comparison to an E-11.

I would definitely agree that SBD is not the easiest to use, T21 on the other hand is a spray n pray wingun in my opinion. I might even go as far as to say it is easier than the E-11.

Well you also can't use grenades with a T-21 without sacrificing something significant, and grenades are an ET's best tool for Anti-Jedi/Sith

True but that is the sacrifice you pay for picking a gun that is more powerful than the E-11
