DOTF is good for building a population because that's what people want.

DotF really isn't that great for building pop. I'd say it's pretty detrimental to pop actually when you consider who the server's regulars are. Haven's been sitting empty off rotation on DotF all day, while Pande's on a rotation and populated....

Really, it's less of what map the server is on and more along the lines of the population that's already there. AOD gets all the population because there's always a couple AOD members without lives there.

Edit: And by God, if I have to learn to write in python to make a simple !nextmap vote script, I will if that'll get it put on the server. No nominating random maps, just voting to go to the next map on the rotation.
